Frequently asked questions
To serve users as well as possible, an overview has been included with the most common questions. This page contains relevant detailed information about WOZEP data management.
What data is recorded within the monitoring programmes?
Data management is carried out for three multi-year programmes. These are:
- Wind Op Zee Ecologisch Programma (WOZEP), see for more information: https://noordzeeloket.nl/functies-gebruik/energietransitie-zee/windenergie-zee/ecologie-wozep/
- Monitoring-Research-Nature Enhancement-Species Protection (MONS), see for more information: https://www.noordzeeloket.nl/omgeving/noordzeeoverleg/mons-onderzoeks-monitoringprogramma/
- All repositories related to Digital Ecological Monitoring (DEM), see for more information: https://www.digitalenoordzee.nl/onderwerpen/d/digitale-ecologische-monitoring
Where can I find the recorded data?
To access the recorded data, you can navigate to the GitLab environment. Within this you will find the various repositories with the available data. Some of the repositories are publicly accessible; for specific data you can submit a request. If you do not yet have an account on the GitLab environment, you can request a new account via: https://wozep.nl/git/users/sign_up
How can I submit a request to gain access to specific data?
To submit a request for access to specific data, you can contact one of our data stewards via the contact form under contact. In the contact form, choose 'Access to dataset'. Clearly state in your request which data you need and for what purpose. Please mention your GitLab username, so access can be granted directly upon approval.
