Offshore Wind Ecological Programme - Dashboard

The Offshore Wind Ecological Programme (WOZEP) builds knowledge about the potential effects of existing and planned offshore wind farms on birds, bats, marine mammals, and their habitat. For the large-scale development of offshore wind energy, this knowledge is indispensable. This includes understanding the ecological impacts of these activities. WOZEP is a programme of Rijkswaterstaat, commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. It started in 2016.

This is the data portal of the Offshore Wind Ecological Programme. Through the tiles below, you can find more information about the WOZEP and MONS programmes, gain insight into the available datasets, and access the repository (GitLab). This portal also contains available datasets from the MONS Monitoring and Research Programme. Some datasets are only available upon request. This is indicated in the overview of available datasets.
